On April 27, a dispute rose between a bar owner and the employer. Employer was middle aged woman who was at her first day of job. When police arrived at the site, the woman was ushered out of the bar. A 26 years old veteran officer, Akinyemi Borisade, restrained the lady in handcuffs while making a report.
The woman tried to resist the arrest by kicking him in the waist area. To reaction to this, Borisade stroke the lady multiple times in the stomach region. Woman could not bear the pain and fell down on the ground. This incident was witnessed by two other officers and video surveillance camera.
Borisade has now been fired from the job and is under investigation for allegedly hitting the woman. He was appointed in March 2015.
